Vivien was born in New Zealand and came to the UK in 2005. She has lived in SE London since then. She is passionate about getting people out of pain and moving again.

Vivien set up &osteo because she believes having everything under one roof is the best way to provide the full 360 support you need to get you moving well and fit for life.

Vivien’s early career involved working in the City as a project manager, responsible for the delivery of large projects in a variety of City institutions. However, having decided to follow her passion and retrain, she completed her Masters in Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy (known as the British School of Osteopathy or BSO when she was there), London and has been working as an osteopath ever since.

She has undertaken postgraduate training in cranial osteopathy and women’s health along with dry needling and massage qualifications. She uses a combination of structural, cranial, dry needling and taping techniques.

Vivien is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, the Institute of Osteopathy and is a qualified Mummy MOT practitioner.

Leonie has worked in maternity care since 2010 in a variety of roles across a spectrum of different areas of midwifery. She started her career in a busy London hospital postnatal ward, supporting feeding, and now supports women and families outside of the NHS system.

For Leonie, the best part of her job is building deep and caring relationships with all the women and families who entrust her to join them in their journeys, sharing her knowledge in a way which is understandable and friendly, with a dash of humour and the occasional analogy.

As well as an experienced midwife, Leonie is also an IBCLC (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant). She has an excellent record for supporting women who choose to breastfeed to exclusively breastfeeding, but can also advise and support with a variety of other feeding methods and choices. Her support is non-judgemental; what matters most is what works best for you and your family.

Leonie is a qualified Tongue Tie practitioner registered with the ATP, which means she is able to identify if your baby might have any oral restrictions which could impact your feeding journey.

After looking at both the function and the appearance of the tongue and mouth, she will discuss and share information about the short and long term potential implications for this and be able to refer you to other health care practitioners who can offer body work on your baby to release any tension which may be presenting in the soft tissue, and if it would be beneficial, she is able to divide the frenulum to increase tongue function and mobility.

Lucy first became interested in Complementary/Holistic Therapies in her early twenties when she completed the ITEC level 3 Diploma in Swedish Massage and Anatomy and Physiology in 1998. She practiced as a Massage Therapist for a few years when her daughter was small and loved it. Unfortunately, due to a change in personal circumstances she needed to be more financially secure and started working in the Education sector.

After being made redundant after 14 long years, Lucy started experiencing perimenopause symptoms at the same time, feelings of anxiety and depression ensued. Lucy felt tearful, tired and had lost her confidence and self-esteem. It was during this period of sleepless nights and feeling lost, that she began to reignite her love for complementary therapies and giving and receiving treatments again. Her passion to start practicing again as a Therapist came back with a huge bang; she particularly wanted to help menopausal women to feel better. Lucy decided to requalify, update her skills and start practicing again as a Professional Reflexologist, Holistic Massage, Facial Acupressure and Bodywork Therapist, with a focus on Wellbeing for Women. She is delighted to be here and really happy to be back doing what she loves and what gives her a feeling of purpose.

It is Lucy’s belief that we cannot live a happy and meaningful life if we are disconnected and fragmented physically and mentally; that it is so important to look at all the elements of our health simultaneously.
